The COVID-19 pandemic, which has been going on for over a year may alter our daily life. This past year has brought so many challenges, especially for all the healthcare workers. The pandemic has and will continue to have an impact on people’s lives, whether through infection, illness, or through economic damage which can lead to even more social isolation. Despite this condition, there is still inequality among people to reach for mental health care services.

October 10th is celebrated every year as World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is “Mental Health in an Unequal World” with the message to address mental health inequality so that people can come up with solutions to solve the issues. This campaign aims to encourage more people to invest in the mental health care program.

Stress management is also a good method to keep our mental health in check. Do not hesitate to reach your closest relatives or friends if you feel like you need help with something. Support from others could really help us to get through our hardships in our daily life. Go easy on yourself and stay healthy! Happy World Mental Health Day!
