26th of June marks the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. As stated by the United Nations Office at the World Drug Report 2020, approximately 35,6 million people around the world suffered from diseases caused by drug abuse. Illicit drug use is not only affecting people’s health but also lessens the opportunities for jobs and education. This annual event is celebrated to encourage individuals and organizations to stand together in this campaign. Together, we can achieve the main goal to create a safe environment, free of illicit drug abuse.
