Research Data Analyst Open Recruitment

Center of Excellence in Higher Education for Pharmaceutical Care Innovation, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, are looking for a passionate Research Data Analyst. Our research team conducts observational studies using Indonesia Family Life Survey. The three years contract for Research Data Analyst will focus on the prevalence and risk factors of communicable and non-communicable diseases in Indonesia. The Research Data Analyst will closely work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other project staffs.

Research data analyst’s responsibilities:

1. Develop data collection procedure and acquire data from Indonesia Family Life Survey and/or another research database.
2. Ensure data quality (assessing data completeness, cleaning, verification, reliability and validity of study variables, and identifying and addressing data gaps and missing data).
3. Prepare data for analysis
4. Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques in complex datasets.
5. Provide monthly reports.

Requirements:

1. An academic degree in a quantitative field (computer science, medical informatics, economics, mathematics, or equivalent) and/or equivalent experience or training, preferably with a specific emphasis on a data-related field.
2. Knowledge and experience with Indonesia Family Life Survey or other research databases.
3. Statistical expertise regarding data mining, data modelling, data visualization, and segmentation techniques using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS/STATA/SAS/R).
4. Great attention to detail.
