5th Consortium Meeting in Malang

On 8th and 9th April 2019 at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, GITA Project funded by Erasmus+ provided a workshop called “Set Up an University Incubation Program: a Learning-by-doing workshop” for 7 partners in Indonesia. The aim of this workshop was to train all partners how to start and establish a business incubator using the business canvas model. The workshop is beneficial not only for the partner who are developing their incubator but also for the students who want to set up a startup business. The trainer for this workshop are Robert Schimpf, Simon Fuger, and Alex Knapp from University of Innsbruck.

The event was then continued with the 5th Partnership Meeting held on April 10, 2019 in Universitas Brawijaya and on April 11, 2019 at the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Malangkucecwara. The partnership meeting was attended by Professor Neil Tower and Nadine Sulkowski from the University of Gloucestershire (UOG), England and Dr. Volkar Wittberg from FHM, Germany. At this meeting we discussed the results of curriculum mapping and Action Plan made by each partner, the previous and planned dissemination activities, and plans for the next meeting in June-July at each partner’s incubator and 6th partnership meeting to be held in Bielefeld, Germany.
